Serve as a forum for local governments to communicate, cooperate and act regionally to provide efficient governmental services throughout the seven counties. Encourage an entrepreneurial attitude toward local government. Promote a growing and diverse regional economy. Pool human and financial resourses to address local and regional services. Provide technical expertise for its members and corrdinate various planning, safety, infastructure, transportation and service needs among counties, cities, and towns.
