Community engagement program - student educational programs to inspire school children and reinforce classroom music curriculum through a regular program of artist mini concerts and student dialog. Our effort included 62 visits to local schools (primarily title 1 schools) with a total of 6,892 student-days participation including students from multiple classrooms during each visit. Twenty free "share the artist" concert and discussion programs were presented at local senior centers and community organizations, with 1,489 people participating.
Online concert and educational programming - ongoing program of video editing and production along with maintenance of two active youtube channels and active podcasts to present past concert performances, recorded educational lectures and pre-concert artist dialog, and recorded masterclass events. This included posting of 61 new concert videos, 7 new lectures/discussions, and maintenance of popular student masterclasses. This programming reached an audience of 13,0051 viewers.
Three free masterclass events were conducted by our education director and visiting professional artists to expand educational opportunity for local advanced music students. These events were attended by 49 music students and public observers. Most of the cost of this effort was covered by ongoing program activities and not subject to separate accounting
