Grassland Bird Trust Inc

Gbt protects critical and vanishing grassland habitat for endangered and threatened grassland birds. Gbt's focus is 102,000 acres in the nysdec washington county grassland bird conservation center (gbcc) that extends from southern washington county north to the adirondack mountains. The gbcc constitutes one of the largest remaining grassland areas in ny state. The audubon-designated fort edward grassland important bird area is located in the heart of the gbcc, where gbt owns and manages 78 acres.
