Oregon Community Asylum Network (OCAN) provides material support to asylum seekers in Lane County, Oregon. In 2024, OCAN continues to provide material support for asylum applicants in the form of rent support, travel support, support for application fees for work permits and other documents, child care, and other forms of direct assistance.
Apokalypsis works to replace cultures of separation with cultures of connection, while emphasizing personal responsibility. in 2024, Apokalypsis provided classes and workshops for hundreds of community members in Eugene, hosted regular "Crockpot Convos" to build community over food, and expanded the range of offerings to include a number of new workshops.
Other sponsored projects include Almaden Co-op (a nascent cooperative housing project), DesiFest (South Asian cultural festival), Neighborlink (supporting neighbors with direct services and survival supplies), People's Fall Fest (a community gathering of organizations that provide services and supports), and Share Fair (a free market for those in need).
