Mission
Encourage the enjoyment of birds and wildlife and the protection of the habitats that support them.
Programs
3 programs
Shorebird and nature festival: conduct shorebird and nature related lectures and field trips; sponsor field trips for school classes to visit the grays harbor national wildlife refuge; conduct poster contest for grades 1-6. Up to 1000 participants.
Habitat program maintains and protects approximately 3,000 acres of wildlife habitat for the benefit of plants, animals, and current and future generations of humans. Thousands impacted.
Form 990, part iii, line 4d, other program services: general membership education and outreach activities include six member meetings per year with bird and environmental related topics. Multiple field trips each year for members to view birds. Bi-monthly award-winning newsletters, website and facebook.
