Greater Chambersburg Chamber Foundation

The workforce development program partners with the south central pennsylvania workforce investment board (scwib) to provide leadership and resources necessary to encourage a flourishing workforce and companywide economic wellbeing. Resources provided are career development, employment opportunities, internship opportunities, educator resources, employer resources, continuing education and training.

The innovative technology grants program awards money to area secondary teachers who integrate innovative technology into the workplace. Since 1999, the foundation has awarded over $370,000 to area secondary teachers who have integrated innovative technology into the workplace. The awards are made in the fall to projects that have proven to be innovative, advanced academic in nature and added value to the curriculum. These grants are made possible by contributions made by area businesses.

The preservation program partners with the chamber of commerce to provide maintenance and preservation to historical artifacts and historical sites within the local region.
