GCAMP connects Chicago area manufacturers with their potential future workforce. GCAMP accomplishes this by educating manufacturers on effective workforce development strategies and introducing manufacturers to educational partners through manufacturing breakfasts at local schools, bringing manufacturers into schools to talk with students about career pathways, and sharing with manufacturers opportunities where they can become involved in local schools.

GCAMP supports, celebrates, and encourages students who are advancing their industrial knowledge and experience by funding grants for student clubs and programs that align with industry and manufacturing principles, such as building, engineering, design, machining, welding, and robotics, and by attending and participating in events and competitions held by the aforementioned clubs and programs.
