To operate exclusively for religious, charitable, educational, and scientific purposes; to aid, foster, and promote the irish heritage and history; to promote and encourage the awareness and appreciation of irish culture, history, and traditions; to provide educational opportunities relative to irish culture for the community; to participate in community service and other charitable activities; to coordinate with other irish organizations in efforts to unify the american-irish voice; to do or perform the foregoing either along or in conjunction with any other person or organization; provided, however, no activity shall be undertaken or performed which is inconsistent with or unrelated to the requirements of an organization exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986 and to solicit and promote the making of gifts, grants and contributions of real or personal property to the corporation for any of the objects specified herein; and to receiv
