Perspective on florida's healthcare - excellence in healthcare awards - with the collaboration of sunshine health,memorial healthcare system, baptist - healthcare south florida, broward health, holy cross hospital, vitas healthcare corporation of florida, sylvester/uhealth, university of miami and many others, the chamber held panel discussions focused on overcoming mental illness stigmas in the workplace, opportunities and challenges for quality healthcare improvement through the managed care system. The changing healthcare delivery system, led by c-suite executives, discussed concepts surrounding healthcare consumerism, populations health, revenue challenges, growth in healthcare technology and future workforce challenges. Finally panelists interacted with particpants about methodologies and innovations that lower costs and gives employers a competitive edge through favorable healthcare benefit design.

Small business awards - this program allowed small business owners to have the community and clients nominate them. Our mission statement for sba - to be the collective resource within the community by providing advocacy, opportunity, exposure and education to small businesses within broward county.

Transportation forum - it is about more than highway maintenance and toll roads; its about keeping multiple, interdependent systems in conversation with one another for a safe and efficient movement of people and products. Our forum presentation included the city of fort lauderdale, all aboard florida, port everglades, florida department of transportation and broward metropolitan planning organization.
