Economic development: the economic development council's mission is to create jobs by bringing in new business to gainesville/hall county, to work with government partners and existing industry to grow their businesses, and to provide services to small businesses. Through contractual agreements with government and business partners, attract and recruit new business and industry, support expansion of existing business and industry, market the community, and encourage broad-based community support for quality economic growth and development.
