Mission

A member-based organization that works with and on behalf of the region's business community to make houston one of the world's best places to live, work, and build business.

Programs

The partnership promotes the houston region across the country and around the globe. In 2024, the greater houston partnership's economic development team and its regional allies assisted in 35 economic development projects, accounting for over $1.1 billion in capital expenditure and over 4,600 new jobs to the region. The partnership's international investment and trade activities in 2024 included hosting 91 inbound delegations from 31 countries to further grow the region's international ties.

In 2024, the Partnership played a vital role in bringing together policymakers and business leaders to ensure that Houston's priorities were heard at the state and federal levels. Through events like Houston Day and the Washington, D.C. Fly-In, we provided platforms for meaningful dialogue and collaboration. In preparation for the 2025 Texas Legislative Session, the Partnership's Board of Directors and Public Policy Steering Committee outlined a strategic legislative agenda aimed at addressing the Houston region's most pressing challenges. These priorities reflect the voice of the business community and serve as a blueprint for our advocacy work, focusing on ensuring Houston's continued growth and competitiveness. Key areas include Public School Accountability & Funding, Workforce Development, and Water Infrastructure.
