Greater Lakes Mental Healthcare

The greater lakes community outreach programs: outreach is the activity of providing services to any population that might not otherwise have access to those services. In 2024 greater lakes outreach focused on supporting programs for individuals experiencing homelessness or that have encountered the criminal justice system. Glmh has several programs that utilized evidence-based practices, such as, the felony forensic assertive community treatment (ffact) program, which assists individuals with severe, persistent mental illness who've been charged with a felony, and the jail diversion program, which helps clients who were previously in jail transition into services in the community.

Greater lakes operates a 20-bed adult residential treatment facility. The residential treatment services include operation of facilities and rental of apartments. Facilities range from 24 hour care to supported independent living. In 2024 20 beds were available serving clients with 6,326 days of care.
