Mission
Our mission: the greater lansing care foundation is a non-profit, community-based organization dedicated to providing support and education to caregivers who have a family member with dementia. The foundation aims to ensure that all caregivers have equal access to valuable community resources to reduce the physical, psychological, financial, and social burdens commonly associated with the management of dementia. The foundation will aim to provide services to families within the greater lansing area, particularly those from historically underserved populations. Our vision: to ensure that no family member in the greater lansing community ever feels as if they are alone when it comes to caring for a loved one with dementia. Core care values: c: compassion: empathy and compassion serve as a central foundation principle based on the prioritization of good communication, patience, understanding, critical thinking, and cultural awareness. A: accountability & reliability: the foundation pledge
