Greater Miami Service Corps

The americorps program: this program serves as a work-site sponsor to gmsc's volunteers, engaging them in activities that provide constructive/meaningful work experience and skills, and promote good work habits. During the year, 58 participants were enrolled in the program.

Miami-dade county public housing and community development safety net program: this program provides afterschool programming for high schoolers to stay in school. This program also provides training and placement services for young people who have dropped out of school or have graduated from high school education.

Miami-dade department of solid waste mgmt.: - this program provides support to gmsc by serving as a work-site sponsor to gmsc's volunteers, engaging them in activities that provide constructive/meaningful work experience and skills, and promote good work habits.

Miami-dade public housing and community development program: this program provides support to gmsc for the purpose of providing daily graffiti control and eradication on private and public property throughout the community. Durring the year, 25 participants were enrolled in the program.

Miami-dade county department of water and sewer: this program provides support to gmsc by serving as a work-site sponsor to gmsc's volunteers, engaging them in activities that provide constructive/meaningful work experience and skills, and promote good work habits.

City of miami community development programs: - these programs provide support to gmsc for the purpose of providing youth with a structured learning program of supervised work, employability skills, training, counseling and education.

City of opa locka program: - this program provides support to gmsc for the purpose of providing youth with a structured learning program of supervised work, employability skills, training, counseling, and education.

The state of florida department of transportation (fdot): this program accounts for support from fdot for the purpose of establishing a youth work experience program to give young men and women of the state of florida (the "state") an opportunity to obtain public service work and training experience that protects and conserves the valuable resources of the state and promotes participation in other community enhancement projects.
