The organization promotes the common interest of the plumbing and mechanical construction industry by providing training, fostering better employer-employee relationships, prmoting safety and efficiency, and educating the industry of the benefits of using contractors who employ union labor.

Safety education- greater michigan plumbing & mechancial contractors association and the local union sponsor extensive education programs. Working safely on the jobsite is one of the most important aspects of any project. Mandatory training exists as it pertains to safety procedures, safety equipment, and weekly jobsite safety meetings. Reward programs are conducted by our national affiliates to enhance the obvious rewards for working safely.
