The greater nw chicago development corp. Assists small businesses hire and retain employees, grow their business and apply for grants and incentive programs to make improvements in their employee training and fund infrastructure improvements mainly in the northwest side of chicago economic development areas. Some of the services provided include organizing/participating in job fairs, offering seminars on general business topics and employment practices for local buisnesses, assist small business owners apply for and receive business incentives and grants offered by govenment and private entities. These efforts along with other services the gncdc provides help the local buisnesses retain and hire employees, grow their revenue base and make improvements and upgrades to their physical locations.
