Women in leadership:women who mean business symposium: this full-day event, hosted on international women's day, welcomes 300+ women and men throughout our region to celebrate the impact female leaders have on our business community, and to join together for a day of insightful workshops, speakers, and presentations.executive women's council (ewc): four curated sessions offer c-suite level women the ability to connect, learn, and find inspiration alongside fellow executives, through carefully selected speakers and workshops. Custom baskets inclusive of food, beverage, and topic-related material are hand delivered to each member of the executive women's council prior to each session (4).iris awards: for 35 years, the iris awards have recongnized outstanding achievements and women's contributions to the community. Legislative review - a review of the latest session in an effort to keep you informed on legislative issues affecting the business community. 12 state senators and representatives from clark county will provide updates including successes and challenges from the recent legislative session, directly impacting business in our region.

Legislative outlook - engaging our local elected officials in a conversation about business priorities in the upcoming legislative session. A united business community starts with you. Policy and budget decisions at the state and local levels can directly impact businesses' ability to conduct business in our community.along with community partners, credc and icc, the chamber will present the shared business priorities for the upcoming session to our attendees and legislators. Gvc's business & leadership awards livestream brings the community together virtually to announce the winners of six business leadership awards. We'll also recap the previous year, share the chamber's vision for the organization's future and raise visibility and funds for small business grants supporting our area's growing organizations.4g) chamber workspace - the chamber offers a shared, business community-driven workspace for small businesses, independent contractors, and other workers needing a space to get work done, network and participate in their local business community. As an affiliate, you will not just be a customer of the chamber workspace; you'll be an active part of what the chamber is and does for this community.4h) women's golf tournament - sip, shop swing is a unique atmosphere to connect with businesswomen in a fun and interactive environment. A9-hole golf tournament held in august provides a unique and fun way to network exclusively with women executives, business owners, and entrepreneurs. Local organizations will cook up, serve up or promote their products at each tee, offering players the chance to shop and sip while they swing.4i) open golf tournament - an 18-hole golf tournament held in june designed to harness the interactive spirit of sport and business. This has been a "sold out" tournament each year, hosting over 200 area professionals coming together to make this the most memorable tournament in the region.4j) lemonade day greater vancouver - lemonade day is a fun, experiential program that teaches youth how to start, own, and operate their very own business - a lemonade stand. Each year, the chamber and member businesses give youth the opportunity to experience entrepreneurship by setting up their business in a highly profitable location for a community-wide lemonade day. These lessons help today's youth become the business leaders, social advocates, community volunteers and forward-thinking citizens of tomorrow.4k) business after hours - our business after hours event offers members, future members, customers, and area professionals the chance to network in an engaging, unique atmosphere.these events are held on the second tuesday of each month, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The host presents guests an opportunity to connect with new business community members in a memorable and exciting way, making each monthly event distinctive.4l) mind what matters webinars - over the course of the calendar year, the chamber provides a rich selection of seminars and workshops for businesses seeking to develop and grow. Built to bring vital information to our members, mind what matters offers webinar style workshops whre attendees are given the opportunity to hear from industry experts on an array of topics with special emphasis on both business basics and innovations such as social media.4m) ribbon cuttings - the chamber conducts complimentary ribbon cutting ceremonies for chamber members. Ceremonies can be performed as a stand-alone event, as part of a business's open house or grand opening. We bring the camera, official scissors and, of course, the ribbon!4n) savor the couve - savor the couve - a restaurant collaboration series of dinners benefiting restaurants and nonprofits in clark county washington. The series runs for sixteen weeks.
