Mission
We identify shared opportunities and core challenges and offer solutions to the region's most critical issues including skills and talent, regional mobility, infrastructure and inclusive economic growth.
Programs
3 programs
Inclusive economic growth: drive inclusive economic growth by leveraging data and insights to target investments for economic growth. The partnership does this by: 1) growing and scaling small businesses through educational activities and procurement and contracting strategies; and 2) providing a comprehensive view of the region's economic indicators and demographic trends through economic indicators. The partnership is also developing a regional playbook building to advance collaborative housing insights and solutions to meet the needs of the region's workforce through attainable housing.
Regional mobility & infrastructure: we champion land uses and transportation investments that better connect residents with regional job centers, housing, sports and entertainment destinations. We do this by: 1) encouraging transit-oriented development (tod) around existing and planned assets across the region; 2) supporting innovation hubs that revitalize our urban cores by connecting anchor institutions, workforce development opportunities and employers; 3) securing sustainable funding for transit agencies to enable the region's economic ambitions; and 4) galvanizing support for megaprojects that improve regional connectivity.
Policy & research: we conduct educational outreach to policymakers and other external stakeholders to promote regional solutions related to the partnership's bodies of work, relying on data-driven, nonpartisan analyses allowing for a full and fair assessment of relevant facts about related legislation.
