Head start program; our early childhood education programs, head start and early head start serve families in muskogee county. In program year 2024, 319 children came through these programs, receiving health, nutrition, mental health screenings, and early education to prepare them for school. Over 14.7% of children in ehs and 22.8% of children in hs served in our program are children with disabilities. Approximately 16% of children in our head start and early head start programs are hispanic; nearly 9% (28 dual language learners) of children speak english as a second language.
