Event recycling - the organization partners with community organizations to provide recycling bins at community events, such as fairs and festivals, and coordinates volunteers who collect and sort recyclable materials. The organization also hosts events encouraging recycling, such as the swap-o- rama, which encourages the swapping of items, thereby keeping items out of the waste stream. Volunteers also assist with community clean up day.
Educational outreach - publish and distribute fairbanks recycling guides. Developed robust recycling curriculum kits for use in the fairbanks north star borough school district's middle schools to educate students on the importance of recycling and environmental stewardship.
