Agriculture leadership activities the greene county farm bureau structure of organizational leadership provides many opportunities for member leaders to keep abreast of issues that affect agriculture. Local board members attend organizational & educational meetings each month. They participate in other local, agricultural & educational meetings each month. They participate in other local agriculutral civic & community organizations. Leaders attend district state & national conferences to network with farmers & other agriculturalists to learn about current issues facing agriculture. A highly developed committee structure provides leadership opportunities for members through meetings, regular communications and agricultural activities.

Youth education efforts annually the greene county farm bureau remains involved as part of the oversight of agriculture youth developement in the area. The efforts include outreach to rural suburban and urban youth. The greene county farm bureau assists in manning and funding a agriculture education field day for 800 3rd grade students that spotlights and stresses how important agriculture is to national safety and sustainability.
