Mission

To create a community of leaders who will evolve the communities of the world.

Programs

3 programs

Young leaders program: working with our alumni in the early stages of their career and post-college life to both support their endeavors and work together on community change.

Expenses: $1.1MGrants: $80K

Whole community program: at this last stage of our model we are scaling our impact in communities by running thousands of experiments, repeating the ones that are working while also investing deeply in geographic communities to assure they are changed forever.

Expenses: $371K

Our work is guided by four key principles: 1. Create and grow a committed community diverse in age, socioeconomics, geography, perspectives, and backgrounds. 2. Recruit and select inspiring young role models from low- income communities to work with us to initiate change from within those communities. 3. Surround people with leadership, personal, professional, and community change success resources. 4. Leverage our communities collective power, capabilities, ideas, and resources to create fundamental and lasting change. There are six ever-present components in the community change model. Impact and entrepreneurship, lifelong learning, connections, funding, careers, immersive gatherings. These six components flow through all three phases of the model (the whole person college program, the young leaders program, and the whole community program.) each of the six components is executed differently depending on life stage, need, and a varying emphasis on individual support or community change work.
