Groves Academy

The learning center: established in september 2015, the groves learning center provides a comprehensive array of fee-based services to the greater twin cities community and to our groves students. These services include diagnostic testing, tutoring, speech and language assessments and therapy. Summer programs offer a variety of academic and enrichment programs for students in grades 2-12. The learning center is one of the few sites in the twin cities that offers all of these services under one roof, and many of our learning center clients participate in more than one service.

The groves literacy partnership: established in the spring of 2016, the groves literacy partnership (glp) (formerly referred to as institute for professional learning, ipl) formalized a teacher training program that was established in 2009. Focused primarily on literacy, the glp initially worked both with individual teachers (b2c-business to consumer) and with school partnerships who desire to implement the groves academy literacy framework. From september 2018, glp concentrated on school partnership only, and as of october31, 2024, over 600 teachers have been trained and 95 schools are implementing the groves academy literacy framework in service to approximately 11,200 students throughout the state of minnesota.
