Grow Your World

Inkounter: grow your world provided over 750 hours of arts-based mentorship, 75 hours of school and court advocacy, and 200+ resource connections to more than 25 youth, culminating in a student-led art show on opioid prevention, coping skills, and community needs.

Present day on main: with arpa funding from the town of carrboro, grow your world established a recording studio, food forest, and youth-centered retail/gathering space. In 2024, the hub also hosted free after school and summer camp programs for youth and families, funded through grants.

Deah day & artist in residence (air) program: through partnerships with local universities, government, and businesses, deah day engaged participants in an opioid awareness art project honoring victims of a local terrorist attack from 2015. The air program supported ukrainian refugee artist anatolii tarasiuk with studio space, fostering community, healing, and social advocacy.
