The corporation is organized and will be operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. Specifically, the corporation will help pet owners who qualify for financial assistance to obtain the veterinary care they need for their companion animals and promote responsible pet ownership through the production and dissemination of educational materials about pets and pet ownership. There is a large unmet need for financial assistance to aid the elderly, disabled and poor families in obtaining necessary veterinary services for their pets. The corporation will provide financial assistance to qualified pet owners who could not otherwise afford necessary veterinary medical procedures. Funds will not be provided directly to the individual owners, but rather will be provided directly to providing area veterinary clinics, animal shelters and rescue hospitals.
