This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501 (c)(3) of the internal revenue code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code. The charitable corporation shall be operated to raise funds for the religious purpose of the construction of a shrine and a bascilca to the blessed virgin mary, guardian of the faith in cuenca, ecuador and for the support of the fundacion jardin del cajas, an organization that cares for the elderly and for endangered orphan and special needs children. The charity will also support efforts directed to aid the poor in the u.s. Especially the aged, endangered and special needs children and victims of drug addition.
