Total grants and donations under our Joey & Oreo HEAL Grants Program towards veterinary payments for 36 dogs belonging to owners in financial need. The payments were made directly to the treating veterinary facility for family pets with a good prognosis for recovery. We were successful in saving all 36 of these dogs, who may otherwise have been euthanized or surrendered (enter the shelter system) due to lack of funds for treatment. All these pets have recovered and are healthy, living happily with their families.
We are proud to continue our work to support animal welfare globally. This year People for Animals, PFA, India's largest Non-Governmental Animal Welfare Organization with a nationwide network of 26 hospitals, and over 200 shelters was one of our grant recipients. The grant was provided for the purchase of two ambulances and medical equipment to rescue and rehabilitate sick and needy animals.
In 2024, we were proud to support the mission of Guardian HEALS to prevent economic euthanasia with education, resources and love.
