To provide decent, affordable homes for hardworking bergen county, nj families. We join in a common goal with other affiliates of this international organization to eliminate poverty, lack housing and homelessness everywhere by working in partnership with people in need.

Restore program - the habitat for humanity of bergen county restore program is a retail outlet that sells donated new and gently used furniture, appliances and building supplies. The program benefits the community by providing lower-cost items for sale, and the environment by keeping items out of the landfills. The restore has a positive environmental impact by encouraging "reduce, reuse and recycle" donations to the restore have kept tons of usable building materials, furniture, and appliances out of landfills. Net proceeds derived from the restore program are used to build affordable housing for local families. Purchases and donations to the restore help families build strength, stability and self-reliance.
