Habitat for humanity of indiana, inc (habitat) is an ecumenical christian housing ministry whose mission is "seeking to put god's love into action, habitat for humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope." habitat in supports the 60 habitat affiliates in the state by providing training, advocacy, resource development and disaster recovery services for the collective. The agency was incorporated in the state of indiana in 2000 and has been providing important statewide support ever since.

Health insurance program: during the year ended june 30, 2021, habitat started an affiliate health insurance program to allow for participating affiliates to provide health and life insurance benefits to their employees through a group health insurance plan managed by habitat. Habitat collects premiums as well as additional amounts to cover plan expenses and administration fees and then remits premiums to the insurance providers of the plan.
