Restore program: cvhfhs restore supports the mission by selling a variety of donated goods and some new products at reduced prices to community members. By selling gently used items, cvhfh reduces landfill costs, provides volunteer/employment opportunities, and assists families by providing affordable home goods and building materials. Funds generated by the restore help fund the mission of cvhfh of providing affordable housing for low to moderate income families.

Homebuyer education: cvhfh requires all families in the homeownership program to complete a series of educational classes focused on becoming a homeowner. Topics include budgeting, maintenance, and insurance and wills. Classes are taught by local experts in their field. Additionally, cvhfh provides each family with a support partner to help guide them through the homeownership process and answer questions.

Cvhfhs home repair program seeks to provide home repairs for low to moderate homeowners, who are struggling to maintain their homes because of age, disability, financial limitations, or family circumstance. Repair projects consist of interior/exterior repairs intended to alleviate health and/or safety issues. Cvhfh partners with volunteers, sub-contractors, and other non-profit organizations to complete repairs that allow families to live safely in their homes with dignity and pride.
