Mission
Hfhac brings hope to the community by providing essential home repairs, as well as building and advocating for affordable housing. As the only organization offering these services, we work closely with other nonprofits to support families in need.

Shop habitat boutique: in fy23-24, hfhac launched a new boutique to create a revenue stream to support the organization's sustainability. Seventy-five percent of the items sold are donated, while twenty-five percent are newly purchased. We also have a warehouse where donations are stored and occasionally hold a garage sale as it fills up. Our goal is for the net profits from these efforts to fund essential home repairs within our community. Unfortunately, this fiscal year, our expenses exceeded our revenue, leading to a shortfall in net profits. We remain committed to finding solutions to ensure the continued support of our vital programs.
Family services: occasionally, habitat families qualify for the program but are unable to close on their home purchase right away. In these situations, hfhac offers a temporary lease on the home until the family is ready to complete the purchase. In fy23-24, we were delighted to see two families graduate from the almost home program and officially become homeowners.
