The HabiStore receives donated furniture, appliances, other household items and construction-related materials to sell which generates revenue to support the Habitat Tucson mission. This year, the donated items generated $2.3 million dollars in sales and diverted over 1,400 tons of usable materials from the landfill. These sales supported Habitat Tucson programs including new home construction, home repair, 'A Brush with Kindness', homeowner and volunteer services, and community outreach partnerships.

Expenses: $3.2M

Homeowner Services provides information sessions to prospective homebuyers, guides families through the application and homeowner selection process, provides homeowner education classes to families selected, and supports families through the home buying process. This fiscal year, 5 homeowner education classes were made available; 14 information sessions were held, and 927 people attended information sessions; 190 families went through the application process, and 20 families were selected for the homeownership program. (this next part is continued on Sched O)In addition, Homeowner Services supports the Housing Rehabilitation program by providing intake and screening services for families needing home repair services. This fiscal year, Habitat Tucson received over 300 inquiries for these services. Habitat's Volunteer Services provides opportunities and support to over 2700 volunteers who donated more than 62,000 hours of services in home construction, retail, office, and committee support and served as mentors and family partners to new homebuyers.
