Hacso community center, inc. Is a non-profit grass-root community organization established in rockland since 1974 to create a community where immigrants can achieve self-sufficiency, ultimately enabling them to become active contributors to the economic and cultural and social development of their community. To accomplish this mission, hasco empowers and provides immigrants with the tools needed to build such self-sufficiency, by reducing the language and cultural barriers that challenge their access to existing community resources and programs. Hacso's programs focus on: immigration, citizenship and naturalization, civic responsibility and volunteerism, social and health education and support services.
