Agriculture leadership activities the hamblen county farm bureau structure of organizational leadership provides many opportunities for member leaders to keep abreast of issues that affect agriculture. Local board members attend organizational & educational meetings each month. They participate in other local agricultural, civic, & community organizations. Leaders attend district, state & national conferences to network with farmers & other agriculturalists to learn about current issues facing agriculture. A highly developed committee structure provides leadership opportunities for members through meetings, regular communications, and agricultural activities.

Youth leadership activities hamblen county farm bureau supports youth agriculture organizations both financailly and with volunteer hours. The organization is a primary sponsor of the hamblen county 4-h and future farmers of america organizations. The hamblen county farm bureau sponsors a very educatoinal farm day where about 700 elementary school children attend and get to tour a working farm and see what goes on everyday on a farm and how important agriculture is to everyday life.
