Combat underage drinking, tobacco use, and substance abuse.

Offer COVID-19 vaccinations events aimed at education, testing, tracing and vaccinations for eligible individuals and family members in the most high risked and underserved rural and urban areas in SE Tennessee with the lowest vaccination rates. Build infrastructure for education, testing, and vaccinations in workplaces, churches, community centers, outdoor festivals, etc.
improve the physical, mental, and emotional health of eligible Low-Income Families and Non-Custodial Parents by connecting families with local healthcare or mental health providers. Increase family engagement and child connectedness. Improve formal and informal networks of family, friends, neighbors, and community agencies to help families develop meaningful connections to build economic security.
Reduce stigma related to the increase of addition and increase in community support for policies that provide treatment and recovery services. Project approach includes establishment of evidenced based addiction recovery programs, as well as educational presentations for civic groups, faith based, and community leaders.
Opiod Crisis: Worked throughout the Southeast Tennessee region to provide education, encourage treatment and prevention of dangers of opiod abuse. Provided training to law enforcement, firefighters and community on use of Naloxone to reverse overdose. Provide Naloxone upon completion of training.
Establish and strengthen collaboration among Hamilton County's Anti-Drug organization in support of community efforts to prevent and reduce substance among youth. reduce substance abuse among youth in all of Hamilton County over time, among adults by addressing the issues in our community that increase risks of substance abuse.
