Agriculture leadership activities the hamilton county farm bureau structure of organizational leadership provides many opportunities for member leaders to keep abreast of issues that affect agriculture. Local board members attend organizational & educational meetings each month. They participate in other local agricultural, civic, & community organizations. Leaders attend district, state & national conferences to network with farmers & other agriculturalists to learn about current issues facing agriculture. A highly developed committee structure provides leadership opportunities for members through meetings, regular communications, and agricultural activities.

Youth education efforts annually the hcfb remains involved as part of the oversight of agriculture youth development in the area. The efforts include outreach to rural suburban & urban youth. The hcfb assists in manning & funding a ag ed field day called agventures, which spotlights & stresses how important ag is to national safety & sustainability. The hcfb also gives donations to the county 4-h program & sponsorship of their schlorship program on an non-annual basis. The hcfb will sponsor an agriculture ambassador as a representative on national or international missions.
