100 days - homeless college students the hands and hearts of hope foundation has developed an extensive program of outreach, support, and recovery for 18+ year old youth that have been disenfranchised from the california foster care system while attending or just starting collegeand as a result, have dropped into homelessness and despair , while trying to improve their lives. This wonderful program of transformation and success is in its initial stages, and as we seek greater levels of funding for its expansion, we have already seen the joy of hope that has emerged in young lives that previously had none. Comedy event 10/11/2023 the event held at the comedy store in west hollywood, brought guests together to laugh and raise funds for the comedians assistance fund, cancer support community los angeles (cscla), as well as hands and hearts of hope foundation. Thanksgiving 11/20/2023 the hands and hearts of hope foundation provided thanksgiving dinner for the canoga park senior center. Christmas/holiday 12/10/2023 the hands and hearts of hope foundation annually provides a special christmas/holiday outreach to at-risk and very low income children that would otherwise be forgotten. We are planning to hold this annual christmas/holiday event at the santa monica pier, and will be reaching out to 500 underprivileged youth from many deprived/low-income areas of los angeles county, most of whom have never seen the ocean in their lives. At this wonderful, kid-designed event, there will be a santas village with santa, elves, photos, joy and wonder. The spacious pier/play areas will include games, rides on the historic carousel, as well as lots of food andg oodies. Most of these children would not otherwise receive any gifts for christmas, so the toy room will be filled with enough toys for all
