Mission
Harm Reduction Coalition of Santa Cruz County operates a state-authorized Syringe Service Program. This program distributes complimentary syringes, sharps containers, wound care items, etc. to low-income and homeless individuals in our county. HRCSCC also disposes of used syringes collected. The purpose of these activities is to reduce overdose rates, reduce rates of infectious diseases, and improve health outcomes in our community.
