Harrisons Playmakers

Harrison's playmakers held the minneapolis holiday shopping spree in minneapolis, minnesota on december 19, 2024. This event offered attendees the opportunity to participate in a holiday shopping event where 100 attendees were given $100.00 to spend at a scheel's store in minneapolis. The purpose of this event was to give attendees opportunities and experiences that they would not have otherwise had. There were 239 total attendees from the community, including 97 individuals who are at-risk or have developmental differences, at this event. All attendees with developmental differences who attended this event were also given a hooded sweatshirt. The pay-it-forward recipient of assistance from our organization for this event was a minneapolis area animal shelter.

Harrison's playmakers held the omaha free sports camp in omaha, nebraska on june 18, 2024. This camp offered attendees opportunities to participate in numerous sports and recreational activities allowing them to experience being part of a team, find courage, make friends, and increase their physical fitness. There were 597 attendees, including 180 individuals who are at-risk or have developmental differences from the ages of 5 to 53 years of age and 247 parents or guardians. There were 20 station leaders, 16 support aides, and 134 volunteers present to help make the camp a success. The pay-it-forward recipient of assistance from our organization for this camp was the good life rescue.
