Hartford Dance Collective

The primary objectives and purpose of the Hartford Dance Collective (The Dance Collective) is to provide performance opportunities in dance for female choreographers and to share professional contemporary dance with new audiences by curating performances in diverse locations. The Dance Collective will strive for excellence in providing: 1. Educational opportunities within the community (including public performances and open classes); 2. Performance and cultural training opportunities for dancers; and 3. Leadership opportunities for female choreographers to prepare them for a career in the dance field. These objectives and purposes are deliberately expressed in very general terms, so that they may provide useful and relevant guidance in the broadest possible range of circumstances
