Urological Surgery:As of 9/30/2024, the Urological Surgery practices have 30 physicians and 15 advanced practitioner full-time equivalents who provide care at Hartford Hospital, MidState Medical Center, The Hospital of Central Connecticut, Backus Hospital and locations throughout the state of Connecticut. The group is active in teaching medical students and residents through UCONN and Hartford Hospital. The group saw 128,524 patient visits in fiscal year 2024.The division of urology at Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is one of the largest providers in New England of comprehensive resources to diagnose and treat disorders of the male and female urinary systems and male reproductive organs. Our providers have expertise in a wide range of areas that are involved in the diagnosis and treatment, including bladder disease, incontinence and voiding dysfunction, prostate cancer diagnosis, treatment and after-care, post-prostatectomy, female urology and pediatric urology. Minimally invasive surgical options are available, including robotic surgery.

Neurosurgery:As of 09/30/2024, the Neurosurgery practices have 20 Physicians and 17 advanced practitioner full-time equivalents who provide care at Hartford Hospital, Hospital of Central Connecticut, MidState Medical Center, Backus Hospital and St. Vincent's Medical Center. The group saw 39,903 patient visits in fiscal year 2024 and works in partnership with the Spine Center at Hartford Hospital. Our providers have expertise in the areas of Aneurysm Surgery, Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM), Brain Cancer, Brain Tumors, Complex Spine Surgery, Epilepsy Surgery, Meningioma Surgery, Spine Cancer, Surgery of the Skull Base and Vascular Neurosurgery.
