Harvest Home Farmers Market Inc

Healthy Eating/living Harvest Home conducted 230 hands-on cooking demonstrations at our farmers markets, reaching approximately 20,000 attendees during the year. These demonstrations emphasized simple, culturally relevant recipes using fresh, seasonal produce, and 16,000 recipe samples were distributed to participants. Attendees received guidance on nutrition, food safety, and meal planning, with a focus on incorporating produce available at the markets and maximizing benefits from programs such as SNAP, WIC, and the USDA-funded Healthy Seniors Healthy Shoppers (H2S2) program.
