Clothing and household goods program - this program provides 2-3 head to toe outfits for each individual living in the home. We also offer limited household goods, including bedding, towels, blankets and housewares. In the past 14 years weve distributed 363,000 quality, consignment type garments to the clients we serve.

Utilities assistance program - this program provides assistance for clients with a disconnect notice. We pay a $50 pledge for the client to avoid a utility disconnection. In the past 28+ years we have paid about $464,000 in utilities that were about to be cut off.

Infant services program - this program provides a weeks supply of diapers, along with a pack of wipes, and other miscellaneous food, clothing items, bottles, a pack of wipes, hand-knit blankets, items for newborns to age three. We have distributed nearly 234,000 diapers in the past 14 years.

Transportation assistance program - this program furnishes bus tokens to clients who do not have the means of transportation to a job interview or medical appointment. Each client meets individually with a trained interviewer to determine their needs.

Emergency food program - a prepacked selection of groceries, including a frozen meat protein, are available for walk-in clients who need emergency food help. No appointment needed. Emergency groceries are available tuesday and wednesday from 1pm to 4 pm.

Vision care program - this program is a collaborative effort involving a local optometrist that provides a full service eye exam, choice of eyeglass frames, and client picks up glasses within 1-2 weeks. There is no cost to the client. Our cost is only $50 for the eye exam, prescription lens, and frames. In the past 9 years weve helped 2,741 guests get new prescription eyeglasses. We also provide free reading glasses to our clients upon request.
