The Harvey Family Foundation strengthens underserved San Diego-area communities by providing essential services to families expanding opportunities for youth to pursue higher education and coordinating community resource and resiliency programs. In 2024 the Foundation focused heavily on disaster-recovery and relief efforts supporting families affected by severe flooding in local neighborhoods while continuing youth and community outreach initiatives.

Hosted multi-agency resource fairs and community education events to connect families with housing mental-health and food-security services. Accomplishments: Conducted multiple community resource events reaching more than X families in collaboration with County District 4 local CBOs and volunteer partners. Total program revenue: $75,000 funded through County community-grant contract. Total program expenses: $75,000 Grants to others: $0 all direct-service and event costs.
