Worldwide one in three youth do not have the opportunity to continue their education past primary school. As a result many end up trapped in a cycle of poverty that deprives them of life's most basic needs. In kenya, just 57% of youth today complete high school, largely as a result of the high costs of school fees and meager family income. Around the world, even low income youth who do complete high school often lack access to career advice and professional networks that can help them take their first step into a professional career. This systemic lack of education and lack of access to career opportunities contributes to the increasing global and regional inequality the world is experiencing today. Hatua network, inc.
