Mission statement: to inspire and empower people to live fearlessly a laboratory for social change, hawt fosters acceptance of evolving expressions of gender through artistic media and dynamic intellectual exchange. With art as a starting point, hawt empowers people to more easily reach their personal authenticity and, beyond themselves, accept diversity in the other. With exhibits/lectures/performances and educational programs, hawt addresses issues of oppression, including racism/sexism/ableism/homophobia as seen through the lens of bullying.
