Mission
The mission of the Haverstraw African American Connection is to research, recover, preserve and teach the rich culture and contributions of African Americans with emphasis on the African American people of Haverstraw N.Y.
Programs

The HAAC After School Enrichment Program (ASEP) serves approximately 40 children ages 5-18 and their families. ASEP provides homework and school support, cultural and spiritual enrichment, physical recreation, and teaches life skills. Program participants also participate in community service projects including community clean ups, assisting the elderly, environmental awareness and have opportunity's to go on field trips and outings.
