In 2023, a grant of 109,591 was provided to the wings and wheels foundation, based in soroti city, uganda. The purpose of this grant was to support child-headed households, ensuring that vulnerable children who are responsible for leading their families receive the care and resources necessary to improve their living conditions. This funding was critical in providing these children with essential support services, contributing to their overall well-being and stability within the community. The foundations efforts, located on odwarat road, maroon quarters in soroti city east division, have made a significant impact on the lives of these children. Additionally, a grant of 380,173 was awarded to destiny community development initiative, also located in soroti, uganda. This funding supported various community development programs, including the establishment of literacy centers, the provision of clean water, and the payment of school fees for underprivileged children. The grant also addressed the needs of teen mothers, urgent medical care, and leadership and mentoring programs for youth. These initiatives, based at plot 24 enyiku road in the eastern division of soroti, played a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for many individuals in the community and contributed to the long-term development of the area.
