Mission

Heal trafficking leads innovative health solutions to eradicate human trafficking in our communities worldwide. We are an integrated network of over 4,000 survivors and multidisciplinary professionals in 45 countries dedicated to ending human trafficking and supporting its survivors, from a health perspective.

Programs

2 programs

At heal trafficking, we equip health systems and professionals to recognize and respond to human trafficking through engaging education and training. Our offerings include the heal speakers' bureau, delivering tailored presentations and panels; the two-day train the trainer academy, preparing educators to train others; and the one-day heal champion program, empowering healthcare and organizational leaders to implement trauma-informed, anti-trafficking practices. Ideal for hospitals, clinics, nonprofits, and academic institutions, these programs provide practical tools, foundational knowledge, and the confidence to lead change within organizations.

Expenses: $36K

Heal trafficking advances policies and practices that protect individuals from human trafficking and strengthen community and healthcare responses. We collaborate with legislators, health systems, service providers, and advocates to promote trauma-informed, survivor-centered solutions, raise awareness, and influence systemic change. By combining research, lived expertise, and public health strategies, we work to reduce vulnerability to trafficking and ensure safe, effective support for survivors.
