Lifespark cancer resources provides peace and healing for individuals with cancer and their caregivers. Reiki and healing touch sessions are offered at no cost. In an informal survey of 35 patients at the anschutz cancer center, participants reported anxiety and stress decreased by two-thirds and pain decreased by one-third after a single session. Lifespark's service area is the colorado front range from ft. Collins to colorado springs. Sessions are provided at partner locations including uchealth anschutz cancer center, uchealth highlands ranch hospital, uchealth poudre valley hospital, denver health medical center, and numerous churches and spas. Remote sessions are available anywhere in the us. Lifespark also collaborates on research initiatives to evaluate the benefits of reiki and healing touch for individuals with cancer.
